Ninja 600 Motorcycle Bike Problems, Starting and Running. Diagnosis?

My bike has started running progressively worse for the past 3 weeks. Bike used to take me daily on hour runs each way to graduate school and back. But I've always had to use the choke a lot on start up, and always used it to start the bike, even in warm weather.

Now it runs like crap. Had to adjust the "air" screw on the carbs to get it to idle. And it idles high, but if you don't use any throttle, it will eventually bog down at 1,000 RPMs, then die. If you ride it, it has no power (esp low end) at all. Sometimes it will not pull at all, full throttle and almost NO acceleration.

I let it sit a few days. When I went to start the bike (starter button) I get a buzz sound. I figured it is battery issue. I hooked it up to my car battery today, and cranked for 4 minutes straight (cranked fast) but the bike will not start AT ALL. That has never happened before.

So far, I have done spark plugs (some coolant DID fall into wells), cleaned rust/varnish out tank, did coolant and oil.

Sounds to me like you're due for a carb cleaning session. But, before you invest alot of time of your own or at a shop with the carbs do a compression check to make sure everything thing else is OK. I assume that you have checked to make sure that all the plugs are sparking.

first of all you should have never jumped it from your car i would now check to see if you burned or fried any wires then i would check the compression if this check out ok i would then check out the carbs. PS if you cranked it for 4 min somthing is gonna be cooked.

Do not jump a bike with a car it will damage the cars and the bikes electrical system and can cause the car battery to explode in the worst case scenario.

There could be a lot of issues here that can cause this. You are talking carbs; that is obvious because you adjusted the air screw. Withou having the bike I couldn't even start to guess.
