In a nutshell, you need to correct your carb jetting, and your compression numbers. What model bike is used in the Terminator movies and Top Gun?
Cold air has more density than hot air. So while the weather is cold, your air charge is 'thicker' and leaning out your fuel mixture. You need to fatten it up some.
83 Honda CR125 piston ring is marked N150, what does this mean?
While your at it though, I'd run a compression check on the engine and see if it falls within specs. Those little engines wear out at an alarming rate and you could be due for a set of rings or a rebuild.

A moped is most likely not tuned for cold weather, now I've had snomobiles that start in - 30 weather with a pull or two, and they DO RUN!!how fast will a yamaha 660r raptor run?
Most do until they are warmed up, unless they are brand New.like the other guy said sleds really rip at -30, that thing is designed to operate in 120 f weather. something metal to block some , not all , of the air that passes the motor may help, good luck ,dress warm.
should I get a honda crf 150/f expert or............?
No. Snowmobiles have been using 2 stroke engines since they started making them in the early 60's.Installed Dyna gas tank on Sportster, can't fill all way, it stalls or floods carb, what can I do.?
2 stroke engines react more to changes in weather and need to have their carburetors setup accordingly.
The old Mercury snowmobiles with the Thunderbolt ignition were advertised to start on the first pull.
