Question:
I am upgrading from my little pi bike either of these 85cc's : KTM sx85, Honda cr85, Suzuki rm 85, kawaski kx85, Yamaha yz85. I'd like to be able to test ride any of these bikes unless I pay them a bit of money and I need to test tham all, so instead i'd like people to tell me what each bike is good at and bad at.
I have my eyes on the KTM simply for looks but i'm not sure if any of the other bikes ride any better.
Thanks I need an answer preferably from somone who has rode a few of them and can actually tell me the difference between these bikes.

I rode KTMs found them to be good bikes and i gotta agree with you the Dukes look great. But Nothing lays the power down like a Honda. The bikes now are all so close that really you are going to struggle to find a lot of difference. So go with what you think looks good. Even while test riding you are not going to get the feel of the bike. Until as you know youself you have moved the levers the bars and the suspension to your riding style and body shape so if you think the KTM looks good go for the Katie at the end of the day no matter what you ride its all about you.What am I talking about when I say...?

i know people with 4 of these bikes all except the kawasaki all of them said kawasaki hasent updated the 85 in years and now its fallen way behind the others. If you wasnt speed go with the KTM or Yamaha (Yamaha is cheaper) if you want the best suspension and easiest to ride go with the honda 85. If you want the best bike you can buy in that class get a honda crf 150 its a four stroke that can race in the 85 cc class but blows all those bikes awayMore Questions & Answers ...
