I have a 2000 Harley Fat Boy but want to make the front end look like a chopper. I love everything about the bike as is, but want to give it that chopper look.What the easiest way to get the front end to look stretched. New Frame with higher degree rake?? Or do i need to buy a new Forks or just the triple tree w/set rake? I dont want to affect the trail too much. thanks

you can get new bearing cups that will rake it out a little and this is relitively cheap. That plus a tank lift kit would make the bike look somewhat choopper'd without alot of cash.Can anyone tell me where to find a good salvage yard to buy a rebuildable sport bike. I am in NC?
You'll probably need a new triple tree set with new longer forks. Make sure it can handle the weight without bending the forks. It should have a weight rating. You'll probably want a little thicker forks anyways, it will look cooler on the frame.can you get automatic motorbikes or are they all manual gearing?

I did something like this to the old ladys bike.I lowered the rear about 3/4" and put 4" over fork tubes. It didn't cost much and got her the look she was after. Also on a fat boy you'll want to ditch that fat front wheel for a 21" . You can see the old lady's FXR on www.hotrodhotlinebikes.com Go to readers rides, they call hers"Foxy Lady". P.S.
