Question:
I am on the shorter side, 5'1" and looking for something that has a good amount of power, and not a kids bike. I have been told to try the Suzuki DR Z125, DR Z110 or the Kawasaki KLX110. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How fast is a 50cc scooter?
The KLX/DRZ 110's are pretty much kids bikes. They are very small. For your size your best bet would be one of the following.. Honda CRF or XR 100, CRF 150, Yamaha TT-R 125, Suzuki DR-Z 125, Kawasaki KLX 125. Be aware that the Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki 125's come in two sizes; the regular model has a 14" rear wheel and the L model has a 16" rear wheel. Try both to see which fits you best. I would go to the bike shop and sit on the new ones, that way you can narrow down your search for used bikes if one of them doesn't fit you well. You should be able to find plenty of used bikes at www.cycletrader.com

What motorcycle is better?
Sounds like you have some good bikes in mind already.
If you haven't rode much stay away from 2 strokes..lots of power, really fast. Most companies have came out with some sweet 4 stroke bikes that have great power like the DRZ or KLX. Take a look at the Yamaha's YZF. Good luck
