Question:
I was offroading with my 1200gs without dirt tires so my front tire planted in puddle of soft mud. The front tire is cocked to the left and when I drove it home I could feel the shocks catching like I had a dent in my front tire. I checked the wheel and there was no dent. Is it possible to release the middle segment that holds the fork in the middle to the bike, re-align the tire and tighten everything up. Whats the best next step for this bike?

Loosen the middle and upper clamps on the forks and try to straighten them. The tubes may be bent, in which case you'll need new ones.More Questions & Answers ...
