--That bike has a ball bearing in between the two pushrods.
--Don't loose it and don't forget to install it.
--Soak the fiber clutch plates in oil (same stuff you'll be using in your crankcase) so they get saturated with oil.

Bike Loan Please Help?

Drain the oil when hot, take the side cover off with a container to catch any oil left in the casing.
Remove the 8 screws that hold the clutch springs in place, remove the outer clutch and remove the clutch/slip plates. Take note of the sequence they come off in and when the whole lot of out make sure you put the old slip plates back in the same order.
While the slip plates are out check them for wear/cracks etc. If there is any wear throw them away and get new ones.
Give the new clutch plates a light coat of engine oil before you put them back in.

yes. the bolts are steel, the casings aluminium, so tap the head of the bolt sharply to release the oxidisation/corrosion.. if you dont, the likelyhood is youll shear the bolt off...
