Question:
Do you have to take the whole engine apart or just part of it and if you have to rebuild it is it easy for someone that has never done it. Do you have to buy parts how much do the parts cost. I know a person that fixes harley davisons will he know how to do it.

How do you remove the baffle from a Micron delta + exhaust?
Generally this just means replacing the piston and rings, but in a high performance bike like the CRF250R (there is no CRF250F) you have to be concerned also with the titanium valves. If you do not keep them properly adjusted you could be looking at even more money. Personally I wouldn't have a Harley mechanic working on my race bike, or anyone else for that matter that has never done a CRF250 top end before. As far as price goes just call your Honda dealer or another qualified dirt bike mechanic. Do not try this yourself.you jsut have to rebuild the top end...about $100
URAL motorcycles? German/Russian rig with a sidecar for $10K. A real deal?
Rebuilding a dirtbike means to install new piston and rings.A once a year rebuild is mainly for 2 stroke engines. They wear out faster than 4 stroke engines, because the only lubrication comes from mixing oil in the gas.
A crf250f has a 4 stroke engine. A 4 stroke is lubricated from the oil in the crankcase. 4 stroke engines last 2-3 times longer than 2 stroke engines.
The only maintenance required on a 4 stroke is a once a year valve adjustment.
And yes, a Harley mechanic will be able to do any engine work on that bike, as long as he has a shop manual. I suggest you buy one.

What is the price of Kawasaki KR with FR FS FT license plate?
Your bike is a 4-stroke and a Honda. It should lasts you many many years, just keep the oil changed, the coolant topped off and use high grade gasoline.2-strokes are a different story and require more know-how to keep in good shape. If you don't mix the oil and gas properly or don't maintain the air filter properly, it wears out the rings and pistons; many people don't maintain theirs and damage the engine, having to rebuild them often.
