Suzuki RGV250 RGV - M, VJ22, VJ21 what's the difference?

Question:
ok we bought a suzuki rgv250m which had been in a crash, intentending to restore it to its former glory.
While looking through breakers and other online sites, we're seeing a VJ21 and VJ22 version of this bike too. Also K L M etc.
We know ours is M but what's with the VJ22 and VJ21, what's different from our M version?
Will parts fit between bikes or are they a far different build?

I have a replica of a crf70. It will do a top speed of about 60mph but the acceleration is rubish!!?
