Of course there is. Do your homework!

The best method is to call around to different dealers and see if they will meet or better the offer. Give the store the opportunity to counter offer and if they don't just say "Thank you, I am going to buy my scooter from X now. You had the opportunity to compete with their offer but you refused to negotiate. You blew the sale. Sorry. Goodbye."

Is there a site i can ask questions about motorcycles?

Don't look back.

Race fairings?

It is always better for a dealer to sell their product at a lower profit margin than not sell it at all.

Is there a word or name for the person who sits on the back seat of a motor cycle behind the cyclist?

Sure you may not be able to get the price any lower but maybe a free helmet or an oil change for free.

There is haggling anywhere you want to haggle. I've heard of haggling at a Wal-Mart. It doesn't hurt to try, because the worst they can say is "NO", and you'll never know if you don't ask. Sometimes you can get lucky and have the managers work it out for you, because they know when things go on sale or are going to be marked down or reduced, so they can just pass the savings on to you right then and there.

Why does my Kawasaki Z650 not rev above 5000RPM?

Absolutely! Even if the MSRP were $899 you can still haggle below that. When I went to buy my new motorcycle I managed to haggle down about $700 below MSRP plus got a deal on a luggage rack along with the current special they were running (extended warrenty).

Motorcycle Loan?

Definitely try to haggle. Buying a scooter is similar to buying a car. You can probably haggle it down another 10-20% and also get them to throw in an extra oil change or helmet, or other accessories. Before you go in though, do your homework. Look up the value of the scooter, the MSRP, and remember, always offer lower than what you are really willing to pay. IE, if you are willing to pay up to $800 for the bike, offer $750, and slowly negotiate with the dealer. Good luck!

Which is a better beginner's bike, a Ninja 650r or a Ninja ZZR 600?

Yes. You can always negotiate, and you should. A discount of around 10% is do-able on a brand scooter. Just remember not to take the last crumbs of the table. It usually bites you in the back. The fact is, a scooter is a relatively low priced item and so are the profit dollars. You will need this dealer again for service so negotiate but keep this in mind AND tell the dealer why you are not the toughest negotiator in the world.he will remember otherwise you remind him comes service time.
Winning the battle does not mean winning the war!
