Question:
a first time rider
Answers:
A Harley-Davidson sportster. Anyone no matter how short you are can ride a Harley. You can adjust your seat no matter how tall or short with a little work so that you will have no problems when you are putting. I know some bikers that are only 5 feet tall and one guy I know is 4 foot 10 inches.
I would recommend a low rider. Something in the 500 to 650 cc range. I have ridden motorcycles since 1980 and the low rider is the greatest. I even liked them and I am 5' 9". I have a 650 and a 750cc Yamaha's one is a 1976 and one is a 1979. Enjoy the riding and always wear a helmet. The freedom feeling is so great enjoy.
I have put soppy water in my bike gas tank and cant get it all out. Do I need a new tank?
the back of mineHi, tell me all I need to know about motorcycles.?
Depends how much you like adrenaline. A cruiser is a good idea if you just want to get around but if spped is your vice then I would suggest Either a Yamaha R6 or a Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja. These are pretty good for short riders because they both have pretty low curb weight and riding fast is about shifting the weight, so they are easier for a smaller person to handle and 600cc motors are getting pretty impressive in terms of speed these daysActually on second thought for a first time rider maybe get a 250cc motorcycle if you want a sportsbike. a Honda CBR250R or something so you can work up to the speed. It's probably a much better idea for a first time rider.
Where can I find a used Honda Sabre in the western Fl panhandle?
Honda CBR 600 F4I have a scorpa motorbike and it rocks how do I keep it in good shape?
250cc Honda Rebel or Kawasaki Vulcan. These are the bikes that MSF instructors use to teach with. They are reliable and relativly inexpensive.Don't mess around with Harleys or Sportbikes until you have more experience and lots of money.
Ninja 250R Sport is the best one on the market right now.
I would suggest going to a dealer and being fitted. You can have most bikes lowered in thes suspenion and also the make a seat that will let you set lower to the ground and more forward to the controls. With these adjustments you canride most any bike you feel you can handle.
Harley Sportster low or Dyna lowrider
Honda rebel or Shadow Aero 750
Being a short person myself, and a new rider, I went with a Honda Rebel 250. I would not get anything bigger until you got way comfortable with it first. My Honda has been very reliable and fun
