Evolution engine in a lowrider frame?

Question:
I got a 79 lowrider, fxs, and I just want to know if I can fit a standard evo engine in the frame. Thanks!

Kawasaki ZRX 1100 or Honda 919?

When they changed to the EVO in '84, you could order either the EVO or the shovel. I'm not sure about the frame changes if any, but like the guy before me said, you can fit any motor to any frame...up to a point! The thing you might have to do is cut the old motor and tranny mounts and weld on new ones to accomodate, but that's it. It WILL fit; it may need modifications to be ATTACHED so that it will work and more importantly, so it'll be safe and dependable! Do not attempt this at home unless you know what you're doing! HAHA!! Good luck!

tell me about tvs apache bike?

Yeah, but you will need to tub out the firewall, rebolt the frame, and the grill will have to be recessed about 3 inches.

Motocross bikes?

it depends what kind of bike the evo came out of, if it came out of a early model fxr, then probably not because it would be rubber mounted. although any motor will fit in any bike with some modification
