That model has Electronic Ignition. The timing isn't adjustable. How do you repair a 49cc mini chopper that has a stuck gas throttle in high idle?
You might find a diagram here.http://www.mrcycles.com/fiche_section_de...
Usually on Honda's the guides slide into a notch in the cylinder and the head holds it in place. As far as timing goes, you'll have to take off the 2 plugs that are in the left side crankcase cover. Usually look like giant flathead screwdriver slots on the older bikes. Under the bigger one you'll see a nut. Under the other it will look like nothing right now. The hole with the nut, get a ratchet and turn the nut (clockwise). The motor should turn when you do this.
With the head off the motor, turn the motor by hand (ratchet) till you see some lines on the flywheel in the other plug hole. One set should have "T" by it. In the hole you're looking in there should be a line cut in the crankcase cover. Line up the line on the flywheel with the line in the cover. Then move the timing gear so that the lines on the timing gear line up with the top off the cylinder. If there are 3 lines use the 2 that'll make it line up on both sides. Put the chain on the gear and then slide the gear onto the end of the cam. Make sure all marks are lined up. Put the bolt back in the cam that holds the gear on and finish re-assembling. You're goal is to get the Flywheel mark lined up with the cover and the gear marks lined up with the top of the cylinder at the same time. And put the chain on without turning anything. It's easier than it sounds. Thats a fun little quad. Good Luck!
