What 87 suzuki 230 came out with a shaft drive?

i just bought a 87 suzuki to play around on so i wouldnt tear the hell out of my foreman but it was said to be an 87 230 quadsport but i thought they where chain driven! the plastic is also different than on a quadsport it has 3 vent openings right under the headlight and the rest of it is solid! can someone help me figure out the make of the ATV?

I'll try to help, I worked at a Suzuki dealership during the eighties. If memory serves me, the quadsport came out in 85 with mostly red plastic and black seat, also kick start with manual clutch. I think 86 got a blue seat. 87 got white plastic with blue seat. In 86 or 87 they introduced a second quadsport 230 with electric start, automatic clutch, but I think it also had chain drive. There was another 230 model that was more of a work machine, it had a dual range shaft drive set up, electric start, no rear suspension. They were all good machines, not as fast as the new stuff, but, very reliable. The model designations were like LT230 or LT230GE, should be on the frame tag somewhere, hope this info helps.
