Question:
I have a Polaris Sportsman 700 me and my dad were pulling a lot of lumber out of the woods on the trailer on the atv we were going up a big hill and it was to much for it to pull so it overheated and the engine started smoking now the overflow gas line under it is constantly leaking now so much gas is leaking it wont start why is it doing this ?

probably overheated and therfore blew the cylinder, or maybe it overheated and locked the cylinder in place due to heat. You have to take it apart and take it out.Just wondering if anyone is around gettysburg pennsylvania.i'm going for a tour?
Overheating should not have anything to do with your gas leak. Just disassemble the carb to check the float/needle/seat mechanism for debris to cure the leak. Hopefully, your engine is still OK.89 heritage softail wha is the largest (widest) rear tire i can put on it without modifictions?
