2004 Kymco ZX50 de-restriction?

Question:
They should do about 45mph. with a140lb. rider. Mine only hits 35. there seems to be more power availible but it just stops (flatens out) likes theres a govener on it. How can I get the top performence out of it before I start putting on add ons?

To bypass the rev limiter ,,jumper the green wires on the CDI box,,,,should be a light green and dark green.
Just connect them together.

You can either buy the straight boss without the shoulder,
or take yours to a machine shop and have them turn the shoulder off in a lathe
