im a big gixxer fan ( i just totalled my 05 750 ) ,and every one ive talked to says the r-6 is to "peaky". yeah ,it may be a better "race" bike ,so if youre racing, i cant help. and i will aadmit,i thik the r-6 is way sexier ( shh,dont tell my ridding buddies!). truth be told ,they all have thier strenghts and weakness ,and if you go looking at "dyno " numbers and quater mile times ,youll see they are all close enough to cover with a post-it. id say get the bike you like the best ,the one youre happy with ,cause they all rip, and will far exceed 90% of riders ability,except maybe in a straight line. btw ,the triumph 675 & kawasaki 636 are the "faster" cheater 600's.oh ,one more note ,if this is youre first bike,DO NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE WHO SAY " OH ,JUST GET THE 1000" . yeah ,they are crazy fun ,and blinding fast, but require much skill to wield. check out motorcyclistonline.com one more thing ,ummm ,the cbr 600rr was reviewed as the best overall. just a fyi ;)
