Anyone know how to time the gears on a CRF250R Honda?

I am not sure on the marks, which ones have to be aligned. There are marks on the crankshaft and on the balancer shaft along with marks on te crank gear and balancer shaft gear.

each and every mark has a corresponding mark that needs to be lined up with the other one
go to your local library and they DO have books there that do show you the marks and exactly how to do the job

Find the "T" mark in the bottom end line it up with the notch in the sight hole. Make sure the lobes on the cam are facing down and line up the slash on the cam sproket with the horizontal mark in the head. Sorry I didn't read your question properly and answered for cam timing. for your cuonter balancer you'll want to have the book open and in front of you. any misadvice can leave your new tech four stroke in the junk pile! Don't take chances.
