Question:
When me and my riding buddies go on those super long 100 mile rides, we generally have a Volvo station wagon as the support vehicle bringing up the rear and holding all the extra gear for us. We usually pack several quarts of motor oil, a full tool kit, and an ice chest filled to the brim with wine coolers. A couple of the guys even like to bring several different Harley jackets so they can do an outfit change mid-ride - pretty cool. Anyway, what kind of support vehicle do you have and what do you bring along?

Sounds like a gay community thing. Support group, dressing like the Village People (matching jackets), "gag" Wine Coolers..How gay is that? Heads shaved to look like a phallus, beards trimmed to look like a pubic patch. A Volvo....that has to be gay. Why not the Harley Ford Truck?G.R.A.B. = Gay Rainbow Alliance of Bikers

It is risky to go on a ride with a Volvo as a support vehicle since you will have a tough time fitting even a single broken down Harley in the back of a Volvo wagon. Since it sounds like you guys are part of the small group of “long distance” Hog owners going on rides as long as 100 miles you really need to ride with a four door pickup and enclosed trailer. It looks like you have planned ahead for these super long rides with multiple outfits, but without a trailer and pickup you can get stuck out on a cold day or even worse in the rain (and we all know how Harleys hate to get wet). Rather than go on the long grueling rides may and my buddies usually just send our mechanic out in the truck with the bikes in a trailer full of tools and spare parts and have him meet us at the airport since any ride over 20 miles on a Harley is tough…Get a Jap bike and you won't need a support vehicle full of oil and tools, you will be able to enjoy the trip worry free.

which 150 cc bike is best in India between CBZ Extreme, Apache, Pulsar 150, Unicorn and Fiero?
First off, do you mean 1,000 mi ride as a 100 mi ride is a ride around town. We take a truck with our gear in it(clothes and a gas can in case a rider runs out of gas) 2 ride in the truck and the rest on bikes. After a while we switch off if any one is tired and needs a break If the weather is good we go 1,000 mi before we stop for the nite. The next day 2 riders unload their bikes and 2 load theirs up in the truck and we take off again. Within the next 700-1,000 mi we have reached our destination with all our gear on the truck and if no one needed the gas we divide it up (about a gallon a-piece to save on fill-ups and "Yahoo we are here"!Rossi or Hayden again for next years MotoGP crown?
No support vehicle. 100 miles is not long. Leave the Volvo and Wine coolers for when you get back.More Questions & Answers ...
