Which brand of pocket bike is the best?

Welcome to the crew! I remember when I passed my test, and was going through loads and loads of reviews in the quest of the holy grail of the perfect starter big bike. The bandit was definitely the my first choice, followed by the hornet. If I may suggest other bikes to consider: the yamaha thundercat (which I settled for) is a brilliant starter-its very comfortable (both for rider and parter), sexy, and the name conjures up imager of knight on steed to the rescue, lol. How about the SV650? It has around 70bhp, but as its a V-Twin, the relivery is smooth, and if you get an aftermarket can (most insurance companies will not charge you for one), the burble is just heavenly. Insurance-wise, the insurance group of an SV is 9 or 10, whereas that of a bandit or similar is around 12. Also consider what kind of journeys you do more often, as it will influence your choice of faired/unfaired.
I suppose the best bit of advice I could give you is to go for a test ride, that in itself will make about 70% of the decision. The rest is upto the visual impact it makes on you, and of course, the insurance premium! (Which would be my starting point). Have a look at my pictures below, (I've now got an SV650S alongside my Ninja), and maybe check out some videos on youtube.

Good luck, and good biking!

Most common pipes for a Road star?

They are good bikes. Go for a faired one. You'll master it quickly though and may get bored. My advice is look at a hornet or a fazer. The sv 650 sport is a great all rounder. All in the same catagory as a bandit. Enjoy.

Where can i find spares fof honda xl 350?

Have my 600s 2 years today from new. No problems at all. The bike has been around for years, so that speeks for its self. Its not the quickest off the 600 about, or the best handler, but its very good value for money, a nice bike to step up to from your 125. The only thing i would suggest that you do is change the can and where the sides of your feet touch the bike is put on some clear plastic stickers.
What ever you go for take it easy till you get used to it.
Safe biking.

Where can I get a shop 'Chilton's' manual for a 1999 Honda Magna?

I had one for three years. It was an easy bike to ride, forgiving and utterly reliable in all conditions with a near-indestructible engine and smooth gearbox. Mechanically simple, so there is less to go wrong. Capable of 120mph and 0-60 in about 4.5 seconds, so it'll still leave most cars standing if that's what you want. Buy the most recent model you can afford, early ones were arguably better but in a drop could bend the frame. Being steel, though, it could usually be put right in a jig but that costs money. Do it, just be sure you're ready for it - that's a big performance gap. Also a lot cheaper to insure than any of the others mentioned, insurance group 9 - whoever said it's group 12 was getting confused with the Bandit 1200. The SV650 is a fine bike, too, but is insurance group 10.

Where is a place i can get dirt bikes for a low price like under a thousand that are new and which would need

Low running costs & simple to maintain. It doesn't excell at anything but it capable of pretty much anything you ask of it.

Scratches on Kawasaki?

I like them because the valve clearances are adjusted with a good old fashioned screw & locknut rather than the more expensive shims in the fazer & hornet. This means nothing if you get your servicing done at a dealers but if you are a home mechanic it makes a huge difference.

Where can I find side cover decals for a 1978 Suzuki GS 400 motorcycle? Help!?

cons: its a chicks bike, slow no skill needed to ride it most chicks get it for a first big bike because they are so reliable and easy to ride, a bit like if volvo made bikes. get a gsxr 600 instead (if your a bloke)
