Whats the smallest pocket bike in the world?
honda vtr250. Might as well be a sportbikeWhat is the difference between Harley-Davidson Sportster Custom and Sport?
I would suggest a 1990's Kawasaki Vulcan 500. If it is a late 80's early 90's model they run about that price and are reliable and comfortable to ride - not too small but not too big either and economic on gas. If you are looking for a sports bike I would suggest a Ninja from the same perod, they run a bit more pricy but if you look for a smaller displacement like 500 to 650 cc it should be about the same price. You can check online at motorcycletrader.comWhat is the best slip-on pipe (silencer) for power for a 2006 TRX 450R.?
i'd agree with the above. u'd be looking for at least a 20 year old metric cruiser, and 1 even older than that if u wanted a touring type. vulcan's give a good ride. in general, the bigger the cruiser, the more comfy the ride. start looking around at cycletrader.com in ur area for possible bikes.honda has a lot of options. but its going to be an older bike. if your mechanically inclined you can always find a fixer upper.
Any of the Honda CBs.
For this price it's easy to find a fixer-upper AND buy parts for it. I did it last year. I still need to rebuild my carbs. What I got for $1000: Honda CB750K, Fairing, lowers, highway bar, hard bags, oil & filter, air filter, new tires(mounted and balanced at shop rate, 1 hr each), all new bulbs, safety inspection, registration(including the extra for a vanity plate).
you could always look into some type of enduro bike. basically a dirtbike (which are very cheap) with lights, blinkers, etc to make it street legal. ranging from 250cc up to 600. i just bought a dr250s and i ride it on trails and to work once in a while.
Look at E-BAY to get an idea - lots of pictures there.
Pretty much, any Japanese bike from the early eighties with a 250 to 550cc displacement will give you good service if it has been taken care of. I'd stay away from sportbikes - they become tiring in short order.
I want to buy my first motorcycle... what should I look towards first?
Good luck!
