This is why many states had shut down title loan places. Often times they won't give you enough money anyway. Your best bet is to go to a credit union and use the bike as collateral, if this won't work try a finance company like American General. They tend to be more leniant if the colateral is worth it, interest is higher but not 300%. My son went to a Title Loan company and after being trapped in it's hold for over a year for a $500.00 loan, he had to come to me for help because he was paying $160 every two weeks just in interest payments. He was about to lose his car and although they promise that if you miss a payment they will work with you, there is not guarentee or help to be found. These are for people who can't get a loan anyother way but can repay the loan and interest in the two weeks to a month when it is due.
