Question:
I went to register my bike and the inspector said it was too loud. It can't be 9.5 decibles at half throttle and said I need a baffle. Does anyone know how to make my GSX-R 600 more quiet? If not, how do I install a baffle on the exhaust?

Put the stock pipe back on it and leave it that way. Loud motorcycles just annoy your neighbors and you don't want that do you? They will like and respect you more if you put the stock pipe back on and take it easy in the neighborhood. Is it possible to drive a scooter legally alone with a provisional license?
if you have aftermarket pipes they should come with removable baffles (2 Screws). If you can stick three fingers in the rear end of your bike they are probably missing and you can order them up at your local bike shop. Repeat step one and check the decibels.Dirt bike off brand bying help?
Loud pipes save lives especially for the Harley weekend riders 40 years and up... they make up a majority of motorcycle deaths.
Who wears an icon motorcycle helmet? what do you think about it?
Have some round plates welded over the ends of your exhaust and drill a 1/16" hole in the center of it. That should make it pass inspection. My question to you is, in what state did you register your vehicle? Assuming of course that you did this in the U.S. I've never heard of having to bring your vehicle (regardless of if it's a car, motorcycle, truck, etc) to register it. All you need is a proof of sale and/or ownership, a valid drivers license and the insurance certificate. I'd go to AAA or someplace like that and get it registered. They don't need to examine the bike first.
