no, because you use counter steering to direct the bike with out a sidecar. Now if you have a sidecar you turn in the direction you need to go and you force the sidecar around with you. a side car is fun but: it steers like a pig.

now when you take of with a side car on the left...the bike goes & the chair tends to stay where it is...(no drive on the sidecar wheel)...all this weight dragging on the left of the bike makes it steer to the left.so you have to pull the right side bar back towards you...

side cars are hard work and take a lot of effort to ride well. They are harder to ride without a passenger in than with!
