Brake bleading (suzuki ap)?

hi there i have just replaced the front brake hose and caliper on my suzuki ap 50cc.there is nothing there so i think it must need bleeding .please can anybody tell me how this is done, cheers olly

I always start by leaving the bleeder closed.Take the master cylinder cap off and pump the lever until the bubbles stop coming out .Replace the cap and go through the regular bleeding procedure.This always works for me.Good Luck.

How fast is a Yamaha YFZ 450?

Small 'pop' bottle with a little brake fluid in the base. Plastic (or rubber) tube fit over bleed nipple and into bottle. Depress brake lever (bike) or pedal(car) slowly with bleed nipple open. When pedal is at end of travel, and bubbles stop, close bleed nipple, return lever (pedal) to normal position. Repeat as necessary until bubbles no longer appear when lever (pedal) is depressed (not forgetting nipple is opened at start of pedal travel and closed at end of travel).
Obviously this operation is made much easier with two people. One operating the lever (pedal), and one opening and closing the bleed nipple.
