Settings vary,you need to know the float height,jet sizes, etc. The air screw is usually one and a half turns out,idle speed is set so it doesn't stall.I don't know who gave the thumbs down but, I think you need to check on a few things.

Single carb, run bike at idle then close the pilot screw in until the eng. lugs and mark that point. then back the screw out until it lugs again and split the dif.
