What I found amazing was the difference at that speed of just a little more tuck.
I was at around 173mph, dropped my head a little and whap 178mph.
I know drag and all that but it was an amazing difference.

186 mphAnother question that makes me wonder why everyone is so interested in top speed. The only place that straight-line speed matters is the drag strip, and even then you only get 1/4 mile to work with and never reach top speed anyway.
The only differences you get in real life between a 600cc and a literbike are faster acceleration and about 20mph faster top speed. But the 600 will be more nimble and easier to throw around in the canyons, which is where the REAL fun (and the real riders) come out.
