Your question is too vague and don't take it personal but if you need to ask what 1000cc bike is the best you probably don't have enough skills to experience the difference between any 1000cc sport. You should first ask yourself why am I riding, Where do I want to go with this bike, What do I plan on doing with this bike. My answers to these questions were, I love the feeling of freedom I get from a bike, I want to be comfortable when I travel with this bike but also want it agile enough to take to the twisties, long distance rides commuting weekend warrior stuff and offroad. The bike I purchased was a BMWR1200GS which has all of those characteristics.Need help figuring out motorcycle brand name?

Whichever one you think looks the best that is the most comfortable.The best performing 1000 will most likely be the GSXR1000. the sexiest (in my opinion) is the 1000rr.
If you dont race or go to the track... you wont notice the performance difference between them. Use price, looks (subjective), and comfort to make your decision.
If your not comfortable on a bike, it doesnt matter how fast it is, because you wont be able to reach those performance levels

Definitely the Suzuki GSXR1000.It's got the power and I find it more forgiving than the others, and I do know how to take a corner fast, Haven't met my match on the road yet!
