Well the real question is can I make my banshee hook up. If the banshee gets traction it will smoke a YFZ450 in a drag race. In stock trim I have found both bikes to do 71mph so tie. In acceleration the problem is that the banshee will want to spin the tires while the thumper gets traction. Now put paddles on the stock bikes and put them in the dunes Banshee wins hands down. The 385lb 39bhp banshee revs quicker and is made to accelerate. The 350lb 37bhp YFZ is faster in most real world senarios because it gets traction. Again putt both bikes on the street Banshee wins now if you go by power to wieght 9.549:1 for the YFZ and 9.871:1 for the Banshee then it comes down to did you take a healthy this morning or not because the ratio is that close. If you modify the bikes at all NOTHING with four wheels and handle bars can touch a BansheeIf that's what you think, then go with it.

A yfz350banshee vs yfz450 the yfz450 is a 439cc d.o.h.c. 5 valve four stroke single A 350 banshee is a 347cc Twin Cylinder, 2-stroke. Seems like the banshee would win but NO it wont. The yfz450 will dominate the banshee its all about power to weight ration! So in a fair race no engine mods the yfz450 wins! Its really nothing to lose sleep over there both fairly close in performance! Ever watch a moto cross race on TV take the 250 class for example .Some are 4 stroke Some are 2 stroke. Does the two stroke always win? NO Does the 4 stroke always win NO.
