No, that would be a good first bike.Even though it's a 900 cc, it's old. It will behave quite a bit differently than the bike you learned on, but just be careful at first, and you should adapt quickly.

great starter bike i started on a 82 cb900custom and because of its age and set up youd have to rev to 6000 and pop to clutch to think about getting a wheel up. a lil heavy tho so be carefulits better to learn on a small bike but if you can drive fine its fine just remember speed kills learn slow an build up. respect power an know how good your brakes are an you`ll be fine

it might be old, but honda built itself quite a little hot rod with the 900. respect its power and u'll have no problems. for a bike its size, it would be a fun scoot to take to the switchbacks. u would have yerself a fairly rare bike. enjoy.More Questions & Answers ...
