While looking thru catalogs and on-line I noticed the model years go like this; 95-2003 then 2005-2007. 2004 is not usually listed. I am particularly interested in forward controls.

yup. some parts are interchangeable like forward controls. be advised tho that with forward controls, ur lean angle gets reduced somewhat and u will wind up scrapin the pegs sooner in the turns than i will with my standard mount pegs. u may or may not be able to mount them and have the engine guard also.

they almost make the handling slightly different in the twisties than the standards...it just feels different. i've ridden the same sportster...same year, only my bike doesnt have fowards, my bud's does.
