I have an 83 goldwing 1100i and have coolant running from the left side by the pipe at the head.Its not?

comming from the exhaust so its not internal,t-stat housing and rad. not leaking. Is there anything on top of engine that could be leaking. I cant see up there as for all the add ons the bike has

Top hose from the radiator, maybe. I'd take a look at the coolant resevoir and the overflow hose, as well. Are the smyptoms the same wth the bike on the centerstand? If you run it while on the centerstand it may help you troubleshoot that head gastket, as well.

From what you write ,it sounds like a head gasket? Coolant runs in the cylinder walls and can leak at a head gasket.
If you are able to reach all the head bolts check the torque and even go 2-3 lbs over. If you're lucky that could stop your leak, if not ,you may need new gaskets.
