Any engine swaps into a 2000 CBR F4 Frame?

Question:
Oil starved the F4 running a highway wheelie for about a mile (no guess on speed, wasn't about to look down). I can get a 98 900RR motor and all the electronics, for less than a replacement F4 motor. Anyone know if it'll fit? I don't mind a project, just finished rebuliding a TL1000R, so I've got a ride.

I won't say it can't be done, because as soon as I do someone will write and say they did it and it bolts straight in.
However, it has been my experience that engine swaps with bikes is very very rare, even with the same model the Jap stuff seems to change year to year. Even if the engine mounts line right up (which I doubt) you will still have to hope that the carbs, airbox, and exhaust will not only have room but will also line-up correctly. You say that you can get the 900 engine cheaper, but, when you're done you'll probably wish you just spent the extra and stayed stock. Good luck if you decide to try the swap.

Does anyone know how much a 1979 Yamaha TT 500 motorcycle is worth?

The newer motors have been redesigned to be slimmer and sit more upright in the frame. The 900rr will be too wide I'm sure, but If you've got the patience and a welder...Go for it.
