Most 50cc motorcycles are restricted by the introduction of a small diameter washer in the exhaust. This washer restricts the exhaust gases and as a result reduces the motor power.It is easy to remove by taking the exhaust off the bike, looking into the pipe and when you have found the washer cut it off with a hack saw. If you want more power from the bike you should also think about dumping the existing air box and filter, replace it with a KN type free flow filter direct on the carb.

If you want more tuning advice for a 50, look for info on fizzy. Thats the FS1E 50cc yamaha made about twenty five years ago.Best not waste your time on it though. Save up and get a bigger bike. The first bike I owned and rode was a 650 Triton.The only 50cc two sroke I had was a chainsaw.i had a ap 50 and when derestricted it went up to 40 but lost alot of its power on exceleration if i was u i would leave alone and buy a bigger bike when aloud
