I have a bmw k75, with a hesitation problem, between 3000 and 4000 rpm,,, it seems to do it more on a lower amount in he tank,,,,about 1/4 to half tank. The hesitation is not to bad it only last for few sec. but while it happens it acts like its running out of gas,or clogged fuel lines,,, a fuel filter was put in a little over a year ago, with new fuel lines? So i have no idea? fuel pump or injectior,,,,,its 3 cyl,fuel injected,shaft drive

The filter is the most common. If it ran good right after the filter was replaced, then got worse with time, it might be the fuel pump isolation collar, it's a rubber collar around the pump to keep it from getting jolted over bumps. The rubber breaks down and starts to plug the filter pretty quickly. My second idea would be the fuel pressure regulator, those are known to cause problems on a high miler bike.

Only between 3000 and 4000 rpm? Or is it also when you try to accelerate? If so, it sounds like a fuel line half-collapsing (happened to me) but yours are too new for that - do you do your own work? If so, try changing the fuel filter first. If that fixes it, see if you can find what clogged the old filter and go from there. Otherwise, take it back to the deal to get it fixed, I'd say.
