Question:
Only answer if you ride long distances. Going back and forth to the dealer on saturday doesn't count. This is for the real motorcycle people, those who ride more than 10,000 a year.

I've road a number of bikes and for me it is a toss up between Harley Davidson Ultra Classic, Honda Goldwing, and a Kawasaki Nomad.

I've been riding bikes since 1960 and believe me there are many bikes out there to chose from including Harley,Honda,Yamaha,Suzuki and many more and the only way you will be pleased with your choice is to try them for your self.My self I chose a Harley but that is me, it may not be wright for you.

how tall do you have to be to ride a motorcycle?

The most comfortable motorcycle I owned was a 1997 Electraglide Classic. I live in Canada and rode most of the USA, Canada and parts of Mexico. The motorcycle was then shipped to Australia and I rode the width of Australia from east to west. I finally retired the motorcycle in 2004(115000 Kms). The bike was set up with a stock seat. It was by far the most comfortable motorcycle I have owned.

What's a good motorcycle for a beginner female with no experience?

I'd have to answer Honda Goldwing, even though my Kawasaki Voyager is pretty nice and quite smooth. But when I had my Goldwing I cheated and put a Mike Corbin saddle on it. Makes all the difference in your attitude toward the end of the day. Well worth the bux...K ;o)

i have a yamaha-R6,can anyone tell how can i fit NOS in my ride and its advantages-disadvantages?

I have a 2004 BMW RT1150 that I ride about 15,000 miles per year. It's the most comfortable bike I've owned. I also have a R1, but I didn't buy it for comfort.

Where can i get the Hero Honda Karizma complete workshop manual?

The '06 Superglide is comfortable now that I changed to a Corbin-Gentry seat. Only gets second place due to a lack of a windshield.

what size fuse does a suzuki gs850 need for the lights?

This is a hard question to answer, I had Suzuki Intruder 1400 that was very comfortable, however that was many years ago so I don't know how I would feel about it now. So I think I'll go with my Harley Davidon Ultra Classic that I have now.

honda trx 300 fw atv parts??

I really haven't been into touring bikes until recently. I went from a Softail to a Ultra Classic. My friends call it my gesser glide, it is comfortable bike. I've done the 10 and 12 hour days and week long trips, it's hasn't been to bad. But again I have nothing to compare it with. I've done 10 and 12 hour days on non-touring Harley's plus Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha's, and the Ultra Classic is much better.

Where can I get parts for a panterra motorcycle?

All of those bikes you mentioned are great bikes (I am partial to HD because I own a Night Train 2006). I feel that it is mostly about the seat and how far the pegs are set forward and if you are using running boards. Look into Mustang seats, you may find just what you are looking for. Good luck in your choice.

What motorcylce should i get..Im a beginner..?

instructions for installing passinger floorboards on 2007 harler heritage classic?

I am 6'2" and would have liked the seat up 2" or the floorboards
down 2". My knees are up just a little, still it is the best for the price that I have had in 34 years of riding.
I did try the FHL but not enough to justify if the seat was any better for me. Although it did fit nicely. The Honda was not as well a fit for me.
Moto Guezy was real nice but no local dealer for service.
BMW had a nice touring bike but the same problem.
I got to try a lot of them at the DC bike show last year for fit (only).

Does anyone own a 2006 Fireblade?.....What are they like?

the most comfortable bike I've owned is a Goldwing.
I have never ridden the Nomad.
A friend has a Yamaha Venture? I think...it's O.K., but I prefer the Goldwing.
the most comfortable tourer I've ever spent any time on is easily the big BMW.
Smooth, fast, still comfortable after several hours in the drizzle, and handles like a way smaller bike. you sit up a little taller than on th ElectraGlide, but I got used to that on an 80's Kaw, but some people don't find the taller stance comfortable around town or in parkades.
BMWs outta my price range, but so's th Ultra Classic. Maybe I'll look for another Goldwing again

Is there any possible way to track down an old Indian motorcycle?

I love my BMW K1200LTC. Zippy quick yet much smoother ride than the HDs I've ridden. Don't know about the Goldwing or Kawasaki. Also own a Honda VTX1800C... apples vs. oranges yet both good bikes. I'd recommend renting one of each of your choices. HD or BMW should be easy to find, but Honda or Ksaki probably a bit more difficult. Local dealer might know. Found 3 yr old LT w/ only 19 miles (no zeros there) on internet. Watch Cycletrader.com or ebay and be patient and a smokin' deal will show up. good luck. Keep the rubber side down!

IS Orange County Choppers Staged or what?

Back when my only vehicle was my bike I owned a Yamaha Venture ('84 model I believe). Wow great bike. Size of a Wing, and the zip of a smaller bike with good maneuvering ability. If your not out for the most up-to-date gadgets and just want a good comfy touring bike that is a good choice, but I assume (never having ridden one) that the Goldwing is just as if not more comfy. I currently do my miles on a VTX-1800, I can knock out an 8 hour day on it, but not the ride my Venture was.

I've owned a 1990 Electra Glide Classic, a 2000 Kawasaki Nomad (carb), and now a 2004 Ultra Classic. I don't know which was more comfortable. But, on a 400+ mile day, I felt the least tired coming off the Nomad.
