Rev counter and engine management light on my Triumph tt600 (2002) keep coming dying?

Question:
Hi, the rev counter and engine management light on my Triumph tt600 keep coming dying. This problem is getting progressively worse to the point where they now just don’t work at all unless I disconnect the battery and then reconnect and they come to life. Any ideas?

it is possible that it could be that the cam shaft possition sensor has gone and needs replacing they cost around £30 to £40 they are easy to do they screw off and on, but it is possible that it could be other things, my husband is a motorcycle mechanic so i got the info from him. the lights go off without the battery as they don't have power going to them at that tome and they will reset themselfes when the battery is reconected, you should get it sorted as soon as possible.
