Carburator float pin?

On most the pin just slides or pushes out with a small amount of pressure( pushing not hitting). Some carbs have a small phillips screw that holds the pin in place, be sure there is not a retainer screw before pushing too hard.

Motorcycle Top Speed Problems?

Use a small punch or nail and lightly tap it out.

Does anyone else have so much problems with thier batteries?

An automatic center punch is the safest tool to use, to remove the float pin. It puts just enough force to move the float pin, but not enough to do any damage. Tapping it out with a hammer and punch - there's a chance of breaking the posts.
