Buying used always entails an element of risk. With the new tires, plugs and brakes, all you know is that you won't have to replace these right away. However, if the motorcycle is in a safe, running condition, starts up on first crank, lights, signals, horn etc are functional, if the mileage is reasonably low...then $750 does seem reasonable for this bike. Have a mechanic check it out, seller should be perfectly willing to allow this. You will have to pay the mechanic, but this is for your peace of mind.

Its almost 20 years old. That is old. You also have to ask how many miles does it have on it? What shape is it in...is it rusty? Have a local mechanic check it out, if you are truly interested. I think that you might be able to find something newer with less miles for maybe a little more. But good luck.
