how did it get on in the first place? usually they are screwed on underneath or near the back fender. theres is no such word as "I CAN'T".Those seats are a pain in the rear to get off.
Push down on the front of the seat while you're turning the key counter clockwise - to open.
Try turning the key and keep pressure on it. Then slam down the front of the seat to release it from the latch.
Try pulling up the seat a little and turn the key.
Keep playing with it until you get the right procedure down.

I was working in a Honda shop when a guy brought one of those in for some work. I had to pull the seat and it was driving me crazy for awhile till I figuered out that you have to turn the ignition key, I can't remember if you have to turn it left or right, but, thats how they work the seat latch.More Questions & Answers ...
