My scooter has a 50cc carburetor in it, If I wanted to upgrade the carburetor to 150cc would it make it faster

I have a 97 883 Sportster. Under fuel tank, right side, rear-ish, a hose is coming out?

A carburetor from a 150cc bike would not work in your scooter. It will allow more fuel to enter your engine and make it run like garbage. Sorry, there are not many engine modifacations for scooters. There is just not enough demand for it.

What kind of enduro to buy?

I can't technically speak 100% for motorcycles, but on car engines, the CC's are for the engine displacement, not the carb. The more engine displacement, the more power it produces. So yes, high CC engine would make it faster. I would assume the same applies for motorcycles.

California motorcycle license?

No. Modifications to motorcycle engines to make them go faster are few and far between. The cc rating applies to the cylinders. The size of the cubic centimeter of each cylinder determines the rating. Increasing the cylinder and piston size will make it go faster. Installing a 150cc carb on a 50cc engine will do nothing but make it run bad since you wouldn't be able to tune it in to your application.

2001 gsx-r600 motorcycle, TOO MANY MILES??

The displacement of the engine is 50cc. The carburator is not measured in CC's. You can buy a higher flow carb but the are quote expensive and I'm not sure if they make them for your scooter. maybe you can pick up a dyno jet kit for your current carburator. That would make a noticeable difference and only cost around $100.
You can possibly increase the displacement of your engine a bit but that is also very expensive.
If you want to make your scooter faster I would suggest anaftermarket exhaust system and Carburator jet kit (assuming they make it foru your scooter)

Hi all, im 6ft 2 inch tall so what would be a good learner/125 bike to get so it dont look small?

its called go sell that and by the goped bran and u get every part you can imagine for it a fatty muffler, air filter new special, carb oversized gas tank, billet decks ,gas caps chrome wheels and spinners if ur willing to pay money.and biger engines .

Someone stated on an earlier question that a motorcycle requires 10x the maintenance of a car?

the bigger carb will not work; why don't you just change jet size the bigger carb will will be to Rich . if you cant get bigger jet only stock size ,remove it and drill out .could make worse if no air mix adjust screw ; watch out the carb will probably flood and foul plug
