Get a VTX. Either the 1300 or the 1800. The 1800 is an amazing ride. Very comfortable and very powerful. I used to setup/build and test ride them for a local dealer. after test riding so many different bikes, you would be happy with the Shadow Arrow (vt1100c*) or either of the VTXs. The spirit was good, but not as good as these. If you have an m class drivers license then most dealers will let you borrow it for a day as a test ride. do this with all of them until you find the one you like. Also, these bikes are not designed to ride at top speed all the time. If you want speed then you should get a sport bike.
