Question:
i was wanting to get a crotch rocket.. are the payments and insurance pretty cheap? im 18 years old so i dont know if that would make a difference
Answers:
I have an old leather jacket and over the years it has shrunken signifigantly...?
when i was 20, i purchased a 2004 yamaha FZ6, the loan was for 5,000 (paid rest as down payment)the loan was for $99 bucks a month for 5 years.
my insurance was 101 bucks a month (full coverage w. state farm & clean record)
so for right at 200 bucks a month total.
also if you are responsible i would say get it, i loved my bike and will forever regret selling it. (2 years and 19,000 miles later)
but if you are not a responsible person, and you do not know when to fold the cards, i would suggest you stay away from the sport bikes. i say this b/c i see so many young people like me, get fast bikes and want to challange there limits and the bikes. and often times the bikes limits are far greater than a young rider. leading you into a potentially dangerous situation.
in whatever you do, good luck and if you get one, ride safe!!
and please where your gear!
why dont you phone and find out, but i imagine it will be quite costly
Ref my 1991 rs aprilia 125, i have very little pick up from start. first gear just gets me away ,?
18 yrs old + crotch rocker = insurance thru the roof.Does anyone know about a AMF harley davidson golf cart 3 wheeler?
trust me man if you had to insure your own car it would cost you alot let alone a crotch rocket
Why does my 2 stroke not respond after half throttle?
my advice would be to forget about it, because if you had to pay for your own insurance and make payments on the bike in which case i doubt you will be able to do, but for the sake of the argument lets say you could, you would be enslaved by your bike because thats all you would be working for, if you ask me its not worth it, save up for it and buy it in full and put the insurance on your dad's name
Why dont motorbikes \ scooters get cought on speed cameras?
wait a year or two
Which bike do you think I should buy?
i dont recommend taking out a loan for a sportbike. Just get an older one and save for a while... biking is an EXPENSIVE hobby and if you really ride your bike there is a high chance you will wreck and need to make repairs. On the ride I went on today one guy lowsided because of moss and wiped out... his bike is slightly rashed up but it wasnt that bad. Full coverage is very affordable if you go through state farm but they require you to have a car with them as well. In my case it would have been more expensive to switch the car over. Otherwise the full coverage is such a high percentage of the bikes value that it is not worthwhile to carry. my opinionWhat size motorcycle should i buy for first time rider,Female?
I'm ten years older than you, and I ride a Suzuki GS500F sportbike. The payments aren't bad, but only because I paid for it in full. Insurance is around $180 every two months. But if you get a 600 cc sport bike, chances are the insurance is going to be downright painful - they've got about twice the power, and insurance companies don't like that combination of youth and horsepower.More Questions & Answers ...
