I currently have an 04 Yamaha R6. I am thinking about getting a liter bike or perhaps a 750gsxr. I've ridden just about everything, I've got alot of friends with bikes. But does anyone have any complaints about their GSXRs or R1s? I'm trying to find any downs to the 3.

I have a 04 R1, previously a 99. So far no complaints or problems. I have quite a few friends with gsxr750/1000s. I don't care too much for the gsxr as the pegs are quite a bit higher than the r1s. The seat may be a little softer however. The Suzuki's need quite a bit of ride height added to the rear to get them to handle well, but that's easy to accomplish. The Yamaha needs a lot less. My friend with the 02 750 has already warped his rotors once. Other than that I don't believe anyone has had any problems other than consumables wearing out (tires, chains/sprockets, pads, etc).

i love my gsxr 750. it is beautiful in the turns. the lightness of a 600 with a little more power. I've only had it for a month, but put 1500 miles on it and not a single problem. get the 750! you won't regret it.
