Strange noise from my quad?

Question:
I was riding my Honda TRX300 4x4 today and I downshifted into 1st gear while stopped. I went to go again and as I pressed the gas, it didn't move and just started making a clicking/knocking sound that varied speed with how much gas I gave it. In a few seconds it clicked into first and ran fine the rest of the day.

its normal, on my quad ive had to be going fast and shift fast, and it gets stuck in between gears just give it a little gas and kinda tap on the shifter with your foot and it should go in

Sometimes when you shift into first gear it can get stuck in neutral. It has happened to me with my dirtbike. When it does that give it a little bit of gas a try to shift down again. If that doesnt work shift up then shift down. Hope this helps.
