Start with an older bike. In a sport bike you might want to look at a Ninja 250 or 500; in a cruiser a Honda Rebel is a bike you will grow out of in a week or 2; they have a Honda Shadow that is a good cruiser bike to start with; a new 600cc bike is too much power for a non experienced rider. An older 600 from the late 80's or early 90's is a good starter bike and cheap. If in America i highly suggest taking the motorcyle safety foundation course. They supply the bike free to learn on. You're not going to like my answer, but I think you need to spend a few years behind the wheel of a car before you get a motorcycle. You need to learn about the flow of traffic, weather and road conditions, and most importantly to learn to avoid other drivers. Any of them can kill you on a motorcycle, and you will have a steep learning curve at first with two wheels.is it harder to ride a bike with a bigger cc or is it just to fast?
That's my suggestion, take it or leave it, but even at 30 years old I had a few "interesting" times when learning to ride. We don't need more squids on the road.
