I have been looking to buy a honda cr125 but the only ones that I can afford are the old ones. The old ones are quite ugly and I was wondering if I could put the new 2000-2007 plastics on the old bikes? Please help I love motocrossing and I don't want to look like the odd one out on the track.

Their is a difference from that year to the year you are wanting to. A 1986 plastics will fit up until 1995.You'll probly wanna just save up ur money and get a 2001 or so , so you can keep up w/ newer bikes..... besides replacing plastics and graphics can also get pretty expensive too.....

If u have a chance... well your already on so go check out UFO plastics they make universal kits for certain makes and year modles that look as good as ne... there is some drilling to do but if you take your time it will look very nice.why can you find motocycles under 250cc in USA?
y dont you get on ebay,i just picked up a 2005 kx 125 for £700 as it had no reserve price on it. get summit that was at least born in the 90's cause pre90's bikes look sh1t.If you put the new plastics on the old bike not only will you look different, you'll look like a cheap idiot.
The bikes are very different in shape so nothing will bolt on.
Stick with the old bike, you'll get more respect for keeping it active.
