Does anybody know the total length of a 2006 honda shadow vt 750dc?
riders course item 1, then get a small bike...no more than 750cc if air cooled. do not get a crotch rocket. start off with little putts around the block in a very low traffic situation until u get used to the feeling, then slowly increase the speeds.old timers have a saying: ride ur own ride. basically, it means to ride in the envelope u feel more comfortable. if u dont feel u can take a 30 mph curve at 50, then dont do it just to keep up with ur friends. that would be guarenteed to put u down.

fear is good on a bike, if someone else hits you, you the softest thing in the crash and you have little protection, if being a little afraid helps you to stay in your limits its good. also helps if you treat every other road user as an idiot because they all are. get the best gear you can afford and start slowly in a quiet area and go from there. safe ridingHTFU. Everything in life is dangerous, sit your butt in the saddle and start riding. Sure it's dangerous, but wearing leathers and a good helmet help lower the risk. Be an alert and sensible rider and you will be fine mate!

Looking at purchacing a new or used scooter with an automatic transmition this spring. Suggestions?
Take a motorcycle safety course. This will teach you about motorcycles and train you how to ride one, which will build your confidence in how to properly ride with safety and control. quit being a baby and grow up.Can I get a loan on a motorcycle that has very light lay down damage?
I was very nervous about my first ride as well. The best thing for me was the MSF safety course. They will teach you how to ride and teach you to ride safely. You'll get at least 8 hours of riding on their bikes. After taking the course, I got a 750cc Honda Shadow. Don't go any bigger. A 750 is a great size (for a cruiser) as its still small enough for a beginner, but you may not even grow out of it. The original bike I bought just died on me (its 23 years old) and after a lot of searching... I just agreed to buy another Honda Shadow 750 (brand new this time). Its a great bike.Is a kawasaki ninja 250 a good beginner bike im 6'2' 185 pounds would this work for me?
i was a little worried when i bought a cbr 954rr off my friend it is the biggest bike ive been on but im an experienced rider i keep it civil when i ride there is nothing quite like riding a motorcycle it is wonderful and i enjoy every minute im on my bike just take easy and as you become use to riding it will be less scary but the fear of other people on the road doesnt really go away i get cutoff all the time and ive come close to some deadly accidents so wear your helmet and get a good riding jacket they're worth the money so good luck and ride within your limitsWhat year did the 12bhp legislation come in for 125 motorbikes?
