Question:
my motorcycle will shift without having to use clutch but it's hard to find netural, also kickstart don't engage very well
Answers:
Why would the speedomter stop working on a 1999 harley davidson super glide in the middle of a ride?
The three posters above me have told you how to take the slack out of the cable. If this does not take care of your problem, you may need to adjust the clutch itself. If so, re-post your question with more information. Which '81 Yamaha?Motorcycle lowering links: Do longer links lower or raise a motorcycle?
Every motorcycle I have seen and ridden has a lock nut and screw (actually it is part of the clutch cable sheath) on the clutch cable, loosen the locking nut and adjust the screw. Once you have adjusted the clutch to what you like, tighten the locking nut.Yes you can adjust every clutch from the handlebars just like you would your brakes on a bicycle. One thing though, never shift gears without the clutch you are ruining your transmission.
Where can i get a motorcycle like the one in Motorcycle Diaries?
ON THE BARS BEHIND THE CLUTCH LEVER IS A LITTLE ROUND WHEEL THAT IS YOUR ADJUSTER. SQUEEZE THE CLUTCH LEVER AND TURN THE LITTLE WHEEL. IF YOUR CABLE IS OLD AND STRETCHED OUT YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE IT. YOUR KICKSTART MAY BE WORN OUT, IT SHOULD HAVE AN ELECTRIC START. YOU CAN SHIFT A CAR WITHOUT THE CLUCH TOO BUT IT'S THERE FOR A REASON. *_* I SELL USED BIKE PARTS IF YOU NEED ANYTHING. 915 491 6905More Questions & Answers ...
