Change out the rectifier, it's what charges the battery on the bike. You can get them that has more output than OEM. But, there is a limit to what electrical systems are designed for.

If you bump up the voltage, you'll boil your battery, and acid will get all over everything.

Go with a lower wattage bulb in your lights instead.

Do you believe it is your right to wear a helmet or not ?

You can not and should not bump up the voltage at all. The problem is not with the voltage. It has to do with the amount of amperage being pulled out of the system verses the amperage the system is capable of putting out. I am positive there is a stator for that bike that will put out more amperage than a stock stator. After market companies like Dennis Kirk should have those. Your not the first one with this problem and I'm sure someone has come up with a fix for it.

How do i replace factory tail lights on an 04 suzuki sv650?

Don't try it. You will boil the water out of the battery and it will die.. and so will the spark that runs your engine... go to the B,C,C & D V Star forums or the V Star Club for lot's of info.. I am a V Star rider too. I only us my extra lights when crusing at speed with the rpms up. I don't seem to have a problem with my stock stator.. your problem may be that yours is under charging. My shop manual says it should be 14V at 5000 rpm with a fully charged battery.. there is a rectifier/regulater under the front of the gas tank (it is round in shape).. good luck..

Is it possible to economically reline a motorcycle helmet or would I be better off to buy a new one?

Are you sure you have the right battery in the right bike? I'm not being smart, mechanics make errors too...
Take the battery to someone you trust. Ask them to fully charge the battery and then run a load test on it. This will tell you if your battery is good.
There are rumors that this particular bike goes thru batteries faster and that with your added spotlights could be helping the problem.

How do i make my 2004 honda rebel sound louder?

The relay I think you are referring to is the starter relay. It will make a clicking sound if you battery is dead and you are trying to start you bike. The only other relays are for the turn signal and fuel pump.
